Eye-glasses for Zambia
Donating Used Glasses:
Used perscription eyeglasses and sunglasses can be collected, cleaned, then sent to our glasses processor to be read, barcoded and bagged. To clean the glasses just place them in the upper rack of your dishwasher making sure they don't fall through - any glasses that can't survive the cleaning can't make it to Africa. Then, box them up in layers of eyeglasses, then bubble wrap, then glasses, then bubble wrap, etc. (please don't wrap them up individually). You can then label them as "MISSION SUPPLIES in care of David French Zambia Missions" and send them to:

PLEASE include a check (made out to "Kendall Optometry Ministry" - which is tax deductable) to cover processing costs of $.25 per pair. This is the bare minimum cost to have the glasses processed.

Because we can get reading glasses much cheaper than individuals (even at wholesale clubs) AND we know exactly what we need to replenish our "stock" for the next mission, please just send your donation directly to:
